is its people. This phrase has become a cliché, but this does not make it any
less true.

The Human Resources Department is involved in every step of the hiring process. This process begins with a selection phase for companies in the J.Carrión Group. This procedure incorporates techniques for adapting candidates to a particular job, studies of psychological profiles and proactive searches to fill key positions.

Following the selection phase, each new colleague goes through our Welcome Program in order to get an overall idea about the Group, their company and the job they will be doing. An observation period follows to monitor how the worker acclimates, allowing any necessary adjustments to be made.

In terms of Personnel Administration, we carry out all procedures for new hirings, negotiations with Labour, Treasury and Friendly Society representatives, and we advise directors on alternatives regarding salary bonuses and balances in wage sums.

Finally, Human Resources Management examines all events related to collective agreements and gets involved by means of contact with Unions, comparative studies between sectors and regions, and advising top management on issues in our field.
